New water plant a win for efficiency and sustainability

11th August 2024

A lift for Forté’s sustainability and operational efficiency with the installation of a new Reverse Osmosis water plant.

The Reverse Osmosis (RO) system produces high-purity water which is needed for sterilization equipment, so we know our medical tools and equipment are free from contaminants. By removing dissolved salts, organic compounds, bacteria, and other impurities, RO systems help maintain the high standards of hygiene and safety required in hospital settings.

The new system which has been lifted into place will ensure Forté continues to comply with industry standards while also offering superior performance. Its Variable Speed Drive pumps allow us to make power adjustments based on real-time activity, which will significantly boost our energy efficiency and sustainability efforts.

Thanks to the incredible teams at Davey Water, Mackley Carriers and Clyne & Bennie who worked alongside the Forté Facilities team to get this new kit into place.
