Celebrating 45 years of service!

Nine Forté Health staff have been recognised for their service and success at a special function held earlier this month.

The Five Years of Service Celebration was held at OGB in Cathedral Square with nine staff recognised for five years of service to Forté Health. Their managers attended the event to personally thank them for their contributions and service which, if you add up, equals 45 years worth! The nine staff recognised are from all areas of Forté Health including the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, Theatre, Procurement, Management and Accounts.

The Forté Health CEO and a Board representative also attended to present a certificate and a small gift to each team member, which they receive along with an additional week of annual leave!

Forté Health CEO Rachel Hillyer says celebrating and recognising service and success is an important part of Forté’s ethos.

“We can’t provide the exemplary patient care we strive for if we work as individuals. It takes a team. From the person at reception to the anesthetic technicians, the nurses, the health care assistants, and those behind the scenes – we can’t do it alone. That’s why it’s so important that we recognise our team for the incredible commitment and service they have given to Forté, particularly during the last few years which have been so difficult in the healthcare environment.

“It’s so special to be able to come together to celebrate our colleagues and thank them for their service,” says Rachel.

Next year the celebration will be even bigger, with Forté celebrating those staff who have served both five and ten years of service – so watch this space!
