Farewell Phil!

He’s one of the faces of Forté, but after seven and a half years Phil Burghart says it’s time to say goodbye.

Phil has been a stalwart of the Forté concierge team since 2016.

“When I got the job I thought I’d be here about six months or so but it didn’t work out that way!” Phil says.

Phil says it is the people he has worked alongside that has made the job so special, along with the thousands of people he has welcomed through Forté’s doors and supported through their hospital journey.

“It’s an interesting job and over the years I’ve taken on extra roles supporting the office and Hospital reception team, especially during COVID,” Phil says.

While he admits that it was a tough call to retire as he didn’t want to leave such a great team, Phil is looking forward to finally finishing his house renovations.

“I’ve been trying to finish my house for years but it’s not getting done. So, the first job is to get the house painted and then the landscaping done, and then I’m going to sit back and enjoy it.”
