COVID-19 - Level Red at Forté Health

Implementing visitor restrictions and the requirement to wear surgical masks are the key changes at Forté Health as the country moves into Red in the Government’s ‘traffic light’ system for COVID-19.

The restriction on visitors is necessary in order to allow physical distancing within the hospital environment, which is one of the best ways to protect patients, including those who may be vulnerable. Exceptions are allowed for children, who are allowed one parent or caregiver with them, and for those with a disability or specific needs.
