Christmas at Forté Health

With summer rolling in and the festive season in full swing, we’re getting ready to take a break.

Forté Hospital will be closing on 21 December. We will reopen for surgery on Tuesday 14 January, however staff will be available from Friday 10 January to assist with any queries or bookings.

During the Christmas period if you have any urgent health queries, please contact your surgeon’s rooms directly or, in the case of an emergency, call 111.

Forté Hospital shares the Forté Health building with a number of other specialists and health organisations.  If you have any enquiries about the opening hours of any other tenancies within the Forté Health buildings, please contact them directly.

It’s been an exciting year for the Forté Hospital team. We’ve welcomed our new CEO Michael Woodhouse and our hospital expansion plans have also got underway, with construction starting on our new operating theatre. The new theatre is due to open in January 2025 and will enable us to offer Cantabrians an additional 1800 surgeries each year.

Thank you for your support over the last year. We are proud to be leading the way in providing exceptional patient-centred care in New Zealand’s first net carbon zero hospital.
